There are two separate items in this auction. One is a black ABS box with a board in it that has a 10GHz and 24GHz varactor-tuned transceiver (transmitter and mixer in one unit). This would be PERFECT for the radio amateur wishing to communicate at these bands. I think that they put out somewhere around 10dBm power! The other box has a board with three varactor-tuned Ka band units centered around 35.5, 34.7, and 33.8GHz with a ±100MHz tunable bandwidth. These are slightly under 10dBm. I don't know what all these would be useful for in the ham bands, but you should be able to get an experimenter license to operate them for radar or microwave communication.All of these transceivers have brass waveguide antennas, and I have tested each with my spectrum analyzer for transmit functionality and on my scope for mixer functionality. I priced out the K band transceiver alone at $495 from the manufacturer, and the Ka band transceivers were more like $1200 each. You might just get a deal here though!! Remember, all sales are final.
