If you know audio, you know Meridian is legendary for quality, design, and reproduction of sound the way it was meant to be. The resolution of the audio from thess speakers is beyond belief. The sound is soooooo good that I promise you will hear things in your music that you will swear were never there before. For example, I played Dire Straits on this system the first time I heard it and I SWEAR I could hear Mark Knopfler taking breaths in between his vocals! This is currently configured a two channel system as it sits but would make a phenominal theater system with the addition of the rest of the channels of speakers. The speakers are a very sexy piano black finish. A subwoofer IS NOT necessary with these speakers. All original boxes, packaging materials, accessories, etc, etc. are included. The factory rep personally installed the latest updates in the loudspeakers some 6 months ago.
